It is What it is; I am What I am

I've been where you are.
Left scratches upon the wall.
Sometimes, I'm there still.

I've been there with no hope.
High atop that slippery slope,
Fallen deep into the black abyss

And lived.

Great poem, Ivory. :) And, FWIW, I'm really glad you got through the dark times. :)

Ivory,

Would you consider allowing me to re-post this to my blog under my healing poems section? If you would prefer I could do a post with a link to the poem instead of re-blogging it.

Thanks everyone. I had a sudden occurance of golden brain fart, and out it came. I used to write poems and somewhere along time, I lost the ability to focus on it.

Hi Ivory,

Would it be okay if I put this poem on my blog in a Healing Poems post? I will have a link to your blog and this post. It is very healing and I would very much like to honor it on my blog. Let me know.

Good and healing thoughts to you.
